Christmas 2011 Act One

Our Christmas weekend celebration started Friday morning with Randy's kids and parents.  We had a delicious brunch of spicy sausage dirty rice egg burritos, hash browns, turkey bacon, and fruit.  Opening presents is always fun with a toddler.  Emma helped everyone open presents.  Of course, she was adorable.  By the end of our time together, Words With Friends took over.  Andrew, Heather, Meredith, Steve, Sarah, and Randy all had smart phones playing the Scrabble-type game, Words With Friends, while sitting in the living room together and discussing words played as they were played.  Hilarious comes close to describing the scene.

I love our Christmas dishes and decorations.

The puppies gravitated to Andrew and Heather.
Randy's parents got to come and visit with their grandkids and great-granddaughter.  They brought a gift game for the kids.  They each got to choose a treat from pretzels, chocolate, Doritos, and Tostitos.

Andrew was very proud of his new coffee maker.

Emma helped everyone open their presents.

Yay!  Daddy's game!

Randy opened his presents with Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy in his lap.
Poor dogs were worn out with all the excitement.

Awww.... Grandy and Emma
Grandy and Emma played in the floor with her toys.
Emma got treats for all the dogs.  She knows where they are kept and how to stuff Collin's kong.

Randy and I finished our day by exchanging gifts with each other.  He got me a 32" LCD TV.  Wow!
