Flower Update

The flowers in our yard are exceptionally beautiful.  Randy's green thumb keeps them growing.

The morning glories have moved from the side of the yard to the back and the compost pile.

The former compost pile.  It's now home to morning glories, okra, and miscellaneous other things that come up.
The crepe myrtles were gorgeous this year.

Garden Dinner

Randy and I had a long-time friend over for dinner.  Flo and Randy taught Sunday School together almost 30 years ago.  I made dinner from the garden.  It was yummy!

We have an overabundance of tomatoes.
Yes, they really are that red.
Randy's lima bean face  :)
The BEST lima beans EVER!
Garden ingredients... tomatoes, okra, Swiss chard, basil, parsley, bell pepper, onion
Add a can of corn and couscous and we have the finished dinner.

Garden Picts

Just a few recent picts of the garden....

rainbow
petunias from a friend who came over for dinner
purple hull peas and lima beans

beans, okra, and Brussels sprouts

Belle's 3 peaches

Bouncing

One of the perks of Randy working at home is flexibility in scheduling.  Today he took an extended lunch, and we went to see Emma bounce.  Her daddy takes her to Pump It Up to play in the bounce houses.  She wore us out just watching her run around, climb, and slide.  Emma even managed to get Grandy to play in the bounce houses with her.

Help, I've fallen and I can't get up!
