BU

On October 8th, Randy and I got to spend some time together driving to Waco for the Baylor-Iowa State game.  We followed his tradition and had dinner at Up in Smoke Bar-b-que on the way.  They have good vegetables.  People watching is one of my favorite parts of public events.  This one provided plenty of entertainment.

Words can't describe...
The Iowa State Cyclones mascot is a cardinal.  Hmmm.....
Loved the flags running across the field for touchdowns
My favorite picture of the whole entire day.  :)
That sea of yellow are the freshmen student group.  I'm sure Randy will let me know the correct name for the group when he sees this.  :)
Ten ROTC students received their commission during halftime.
Groups of band members went up and down aisles playing.  Awesome!

Haha! Miniature football players!
Cheerleaders standing on the guys' shoulders doing cheers!
Cheerleaders balanced on the guys' hands with one or two feet doing cheers!
Randy insisted on this picture.
The band played before the game started.  Love their state of Texas.
Baylor's mascot, Bruiser, in his freshman cap.
LOTS of students ran out on the field to start the game.
Picture taken from about 40 yards away

  1. That last picture looks like something in a sport magazine.
