Peach blossoms turn white then pink.

All three peach trees now have blooms and can pollinate each other.  We're excited to have peaches this year.  The first harvest is expected in July from Harvey, followed by Lori in August, and Belle in September.

The peaches will be great with the blackberries from their bushes and hopefully some Granny Smith Apples from the new tree Randy planted today.

Garden Update

Brussels Sprouts survived the snow and freezing of January.

Man, are they yummy!

Purple cabbage is already coming up.  That's a tiny tomato plant behind the Brussels Sprouts.

Morning Glories from last year.

But they are at the front of the flower bed, not at the fence line where they grew last year.

The peach rose bush is already big.  I can't wait for it to bloom.

Yes, the shovel still has the tag on the handle... amazing.

Randy's blackberry bushes are making a come-back.

Finally, all three peach trees have flowers.

They can now pollinate each other and we'll have peaches!!  Can't wait!

Love my new camera with the Color Accent setting.

Collin takes his job as Garden Assistant very seriously.

Three out of the four hibiscus plants are looking good for another season.

I love watching the tomato plants grow.  They start so small and end up so huge.

My New Toy

My new stand mixer makes baking much easier and more fun.

Another angle...  ;)

The Epitome of Adorableness

On Sunday Randy and I went to see Meredith and family to celebrate her birthday with her.  We had a wonderful time visiting with Meredith, Steve, Andrew, and Heather; and of course, Emma.  Every time we get to see her I'm amazed at how intelligent, sweet, and beautiful she is.
