Merry Christmas Eve!

So my family assures me they do indeed read my blog.  At our family Christmas today some of them did comment I haven't blogged much.  OK, so here goes.  If you're reading this, comment, please.

Christmas Eve was awesome!  This year was Randy and my turn to host the Walker clan.  We had a wonderful time with Randy's parents, his brother and sister-in-law, his kids, and our adorable granddaughter, Emma.  We love being surrounded by family.

Emma spent all afternoon playing with packets of M&Ms, moving them from basket to plate to gift bag and back again.  She never tried to open them.  Organization is her thing.

Collin didn't get quite as much attention as he's accustomed to.

Online Shopping

Christmas shopping this year is being done online at our house.  No driving to multiple stores, maneuvering crowds, or circling parking lots in search of the perfect parking spot.  Now the hallway is filling up with boxes delivered by the big brown truck.  Only way to go!

Photo Shoot pictures

It occurred to me in the last day or so that i didn't post the pictures from the photo shoot in June.  Big oversight on my part.

For Mother's Day in May, local awesome photographer, Sara Barnes, held a contest.  Mothers were nominated and the winner determined by which mom had the most votes.  I am greatly honored and humbled to have won the competition.  So many wonderful comments and votes were made... THANK YOU to all who voted and to my wonderful children for making me a mother and for the phenomenal things they submitted to the contest.

My family had never had professional family portraits before.  My children graciously endure thousands of informal family photos.  These are our first professional ones.

Sara, the Wallflower Photographer, is fabulous, fun, and talented.
